Our List of Noise Rock Bands – What exactly is noise rock? Basically it is lots of heavy distortion, distorted vocals, big angry drums, and lyrics that could have been written by a serial killer. It is music that fits that dark, far off side of a twisted personality. To some it really sounds like NOISE, to others it is beautiful music. You either completely understand it or you don’t.

Trance Syndicate Records – Best bands: Crust, Distorted Pony, and Cherubs.
Skin Graft Records – Best bands: Mama Tick, Mount Shasta, and Shorty.
Gasoline Boost – Bands: Big ‘N, Shorty.
Choke, Inc. – bands like Milkmine, Jaks – lesser known label, so many of these bands went unnoticed.
Scratch Acid – Greatest Gift CD Reviewed
One of the all time greatest bands that some place in a noise rock category. More of a psychotic rock, twisted, and unusual. Later became the Jesus Lizard. This CD has all of their recorded tracks. The best tracks: Monsters Owner’s Lament Crazy Dan (Awesome lyrics!) One of those wacked out noise rock bands. The singer was in the band Shorty from Chicago. This bands style is more of a random start and stop sound.
