 Rock ‘n’ Roll High School – from 1979 – Has the Ramones! It is a comedy, but it HAS THE RAMONES. That should be reason enough to get this! Something like Fast Times movie, but Punk! |
 Times Square – from 1980 – A mix of punk and new wave. It is about two girls that form a punk band called Sleez Girls. Not that much in the way of punk music. It has the Ramones and the Pretenders, as well as the Talking Heads. |
| The Decline of the Western Civilization – from 1981 – A chronical of the early 80′s punk movement in L.A. A Penelope Spheeris creation—she also did the movie Suburbia. Bands include: Germs, X, Circle Jerks, Fear, Black Flag (before Rollins). There was also a Decline II and a Decline III which was about Metal music & rap music. |
