TWIN ATLANTIC is premiering a new live video on www.InkedMag.com this week. In the clip, the band performs the title track off their new album “Free” in front of a sold out audience at O2 Academy, in their hometown of Glasgow, Scotland.
TWIN ATLANTIC return to the States this week to kick off their stint as direct support on the You Me At Six/The Swellers co-headline tour, along with openers We Are The Ocean. The trek kicks off tomorrow in Cleveland, OH and wraps on Valentine’s Day in Los Angeles, CA.
Recently dubbed “your new favourite band” on the cover of Kerrang!, TWIN ATLANTIC’s debut album Free was also named the #9 Album of the Year by Rock Sound Magazine who said they “made THE British all-out rock record of 2011.” Additionally, “Free” is currently #1 on the Kerrang! Radio Rock chart.
TWIN ATLANTIC’S critically-lauded debut full-length, FREE, was recorded with legendary producer Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies, Jimmy Eat World). Free, the follow up to the well-received debut mini-album, Vivarium, expands upon the band’s signature sound, melding angular riffs with energetic choruses. Explosive and hard charging, yet melodic and thoughtful, the tracks cut deep and ring true to the listener, leaving a lasting impression. The album is currently available digitally in the U.S., and will be in stores on March 13.
