The Freeze

Cdname: Freak Show/Crawling Blind Comments: 2005. Two of the best Cd's by Boston's (by way of Cape Cod) The Freeze. Originally released on Germany's Lost & Found label and hardly ever heard in North America, these two cd's one one disc represent all that's best about The Freeze and about Punk Rock in general. The lyrics are about struggle both internally and externally. Mental Illness and victimless crime are studied through characters only slightly separate from singer Clif Hanger's own psyche. The melodic guitar lines of Bill Close are the best this side of Mike Ness and the sound just got heavier and more dangerous as the Freeze so elegantly aged! A must hae for anyone truly INTO what Punk Rock isw all about!

- -Thanks for the info (seems like a promotional pitch) - Ed.
