Mannequin Beach - Don't Laugh, You're Next - LP 1988 Been waiting FOREVER to hear this band. For some reason I thought they would sound like the Rhythm Pigs. I was severely disappointed. I read somewhere that they sound like a Victims Family. Not quite - they lack the intense talent and production quality. The music sounds really FLAT. The actual songs are okay, but they are difficult to listen to. I'm sure a demo or live tape if this band would be awesome. They sound like a metal band playing fast hardcore with a horrible production quality. Skip it, you won't be able to listen to it often.
